Motel 6-Richmond, IN

No breakfast, but good coffee in the morning. (Hey, this is Motel 6), not one of the other big chains). Amenities, i.e. Cracker Barrel, located within walking distance. Had to drive about a half mile to locate cold beer (the only retail sale of cold beer allowed in Indiana is at a liquor store. Good location near the interstate (I-70) for continuing my adventure.

This Motel 6 was once a Lee's Inn Suites. The rooms are large and spacious, for reasonable prices. I was on assignment to empty a filthy warehouse and yet do my computer work in the evenings. The spacious room made the whole trip better, as I could roll my files and laptop and office supplies into and out of the room every day, with a fold-up rolling cart, and not be restricted by lack of bed top space or counter space. The unpleasant daily work was balanced with pleasant evening work in the clean, spacious room. I extended the trip from 3 weeks to 4 weeks, and then to 5 weeks, and got it all done!

Easy access to highway. Clean, clean, clean room!! People!! You get what you pay for. Saw several reviews complaining that no breakfast. Geez!! Motel 6 model is a place to sleep and get on your way. Front desk staff both checking in and checking out very friendly.

When they found out that we were in town for our Mother's funeral, they gave us a discount & were truly sorry for our loss. The room was clean & comfortable. Motel 6 will ALWAYS be our "Go To" place. Please do something special for them, they deserve it! Motel 6, Richmond, Indiana

The staff were all very nice. We were traveling and the front desk was kind enough to switch us to a ground floor room because we were too tired to lug our stuff upstairs. The hot tub was a real treat and the price of our stay was quite reasonable.
